Ross Duke has had twenty-five years experience tasting, travelling and selecting wines from all of the worlds great vineyards and regions. He was initially the Managing Director of fine wine Merchant ‘Duke & Moorfield Vintners' , Melbourne later to be Director of ‘Duke & Lynch', Armadale, Victoria. During that period of involvement in the wine trade he has become Australia’s specialist importer of fine wine. Whether it be the classical chateaux of Bordeaux, the great Champagnes of France or the perplexing task of sifting through the superb pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines of Burgundy,Ross has a depth of knowledge & experience that can be relied upon. If he wasn’t an excellent taster he would be out of business by now.
Champagne 'Chef de Cave' Victor Pugatschew joined the team back in 2003 and specialises in the planning, tasting and purchasing the superb range of growers Champagnes. Annual visits tasting new cuvees, vin clairs and visiting up and coming new growers gives 'The Frenchwinecentre' the edge on finding the best value Champagnes.
